AES based Energy efficient Secure Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks

Servo System Design for Airborne Radar

Airborne radars are used in Aircraft interception, Air to ground, air to air, air to sea missions, Close air support and Ground target detection and tracking. Airborne Radar are also used in airborne collision avoidance system (ACAS). They can detect relative location of other aircraft. Radar servo system is designed to provide good tracking performance. In order to design a radar servo system with satisfactory response for an air defense missile, the four loops are chosen. Frequency domain and time domain methods are used for performance analysis. The design approach and criteria of the four loops radar servo system is outlined in this report. With these criteria, a servo system is designed. Then the effects of every loop are analyzed.The stability and robustness of the servo system is depends on the stability margin. Stability of the system can be determine from bode plot of individual loop by calculating   the gain margin, phase margin, gain cross over frequency and phase cross over frequency. Unstable system can make stable by tuning of poles and zeros of control loops. Besides stabilizing margin, tracking precision and transient process performance, the bandwidth is an essential factor.

Multi user Detection for the MIMO-OFDM System Based on the Genetic Simulated Annealing Algorithm

In recent years, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has emerged as a promising air-interface technique for various wireless communication systems. OFDM allows the use of different modulation schemes for different sub carriers or even for different users according to the specific signal to noise ratio (SNR) scenarios. The concepts of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) have been under development for many years for both wired  and wireless systems. The earliest MIMO applications in wireless communications date back to the mid-1980?s, when Winters published a number of breakthrough contributions, where he introduced a technique of transmitting data from multiple users over the same frequency time channel using multiple antennas at both the transmitter and receiver ends.

Speedy detection algorithm of underwater moving targets

How to detect speedily and effectively if the interested moving targets exist in the view field is a problem concerned by many researchers in the field of image processing and targets recognition in the underwater intelligent monitoring system. Underwater environment is very complicated. There are a mass of inorganic material and various organic substances which are different size, shape, and performance. We must extract the interesting targets from complex background. Researchers have proposed many methods, for example M estimation, character matching method and main motion estimation based on light flow. However, these methods have some shortcomings. They are complicated transform, large computation, ineffectively extracting moving targets from complex background. We analyze in detail characteristics of underwater images and select an appropriate threshold level to binarize the difference image of image sequence. Based on the shape of object formed by movement of targets in the difference image, a linear level is defined. The actual sizes of the original moving targets are inferred from linear level and area of the formed objects. Then we segment  every part of the binary image into single object in one image by image segmentation algorithm. Finally we can realize speedy detection for moving targets by some characteristics which are convenient  to detecting targets under water.

MySQL to DSpace Data Mapping

This project is used for data mapping from MySQL to DSpace. DSpace is an open source repository software package typically used for creating open access repositories for scholarly and/or published digital content. While DSpace shares some feature overlap with content management systems and document management systems, the DSpace repository software serves a specific need as a digital archives system, focused on the long term storage, access and preservation of digital content.

New Addressing Scheme For LAN

The objective of the project is to propose a new addressing scheme for LAN. Other existing protocols like IPv4 and IPv6 are studied to get a clear idea about the internet protocol implementation and their importance. Today two versions of IP technology exists, viz IPv4 and IPv6. IPv4 is the primary and dominant connection less protocol which is implemented these days most widely for defining the addressing and structures for datagram encapsulation. IPv4 uses 32- bit (four-byte) addresses, which limits the address space to 4,294,967,296 (232) possible unique addresses. IPv6 is the new version of Internet Protocol (IP) based on IPv4, a network-layer protocol that contains addressing information and some control information enabling data packets to be routed across the network. IPv6 increases the IP address size from 32 bits to 128 bits, to support more levels of addressing hierarchy, a much greater number of addressable nodes and simpler auto configuration of addresses.

Online Product Recommendation on Shopping Portal

Recommendation systems or recommendation engines form or work from a specific type of information filtering system technique that attempts to recommend information items (films, television, video on demand, music, books, news, images, web pages, etc) that are likely to be of interest to the user. Initially, recommendation technology was relatively crude. It basically just recommended products like other items the buyer had purchased. However, the technology has become considerably more sophisticated and is now an essential part of many online retailers’ economic models. The approach uses complex algorithms to analyze large volumes of data and determine what products that potential customers might want to buy based on their stated preferences, online shopping choices, and the purchases of people with similar tastes or demographics. We in our project will setup a site with a recommendation system utilizing user based user based, item based and pattern matching techniques. It basically just recommended products like other items the buyer had purchased. However, the technology has become considerably more sophisticated and is now an essential part of many online retailers economic models. So we innovated a system that recommends products based on usage history, user profile and product schema. 

OpenGL Network Rendering Engine

The objective of our project is to create a parallel rendering engine using OpenGL so that high resolution display and parallel speedup can be achieved with relatively lower overhead. Rendering is the process by which an abstract scene of an image is converted into an image. Parallel rendering divides the work to be done and divides it in parallel. Our project aims to create such a parallel rendering in OpenGL. The rendering project to be executed is given to the system which send it to the various systems connected in the network. Each system performs part of the rendering job and finally the partially rendered modules are then integrated to form the complete project. During the rendering the different systems must be connected to each other through a TCP/IP LAN network and must have the necessary prerequisites to perform the rendering job. OpenGL is a Graphics rendering API used for rendering 2D and 3D computer graphics across different platforms. It is also used to render points, lines, polygons, images, bitmaps etc. 

Opinion Mining from Customer Feedback Data on the Web

As people leave on the Web their opinions on products and services they have used, it has become important to develop methods of (semi) automatically classifying and gauging them. The task of analyzing such data, collectively called customer feedback data, is known as opinion mining. Opinion mining consists of several steps, and multiple techniques have been proposed for each step. The World Wide Web is growing at an alarming rate not only in size but also in the types of services and contents provided. Individual users are participating more actively and are generating vast amount of new data. These new Web contents include customer reviews and blogs that express opinions on products and services, which are collectively referred to as customer feedback data on the Web. As customer feedback on the Web influences other customer’s decisions, these feedbacks have become an important source of information for businesses to take into account when developing marketing and product development. In this project, a software system for opinion mining is developed.
