The campus has spread over 52 acres of land and the ambience and environment maintained was worth the mention. It’s being accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

This is the place where the research is being given prominence and loads of research is being done for UGC, AICTE, NAVAL Research. If you judge this college on the basis of all Indian ranking, it stands at 55th position.

It offers traditional specialization like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering as well as trendy specializations like Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology, Instrumentation Technology etc. Overall seats are 1145. Most students get attracted by the fee. The annual fee is just Rs. 33,000 per annum.

M.S. Ramaiya Institute of Technology

This is one of the most famous institutes in Bangalore. Even the lay man knows the name M.S. Ramaiya. It ranks 73rd in all over India. This institute is being founded by the great M.S. Ramaiya himself and for his commitment and perseverance this college has been a hallmark in engineering studies in Bangalore. The campus of MRIT is relatively smaller than the R.V. College.

It’s almost half of the campus of R.V. College. M.S. Ramiaya has spread over 25 acres of land and has created facilities for students, like big laboratories, library with subscriptions and consisting of lots of books, auditoriums, separate hostels for both boys and girls, high-technically sound auditoriums, canteens and opportunities for participating in various extra-curricular activities.

MRIT offers programs like Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Technology, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Medical Electronics. The annual fee is more than double of R.V. College. The annual fee is Rs. 77,000 per annum which is quite high for students who are not financially sound. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham

This is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. Though not many students enrol themselves for the engineering study the standard of study is excellent. The reason for less enrolment is its fees. The fee is whopping Rs. 115,000 per annum. If a student of modest means would like to enrol himself in this college he needs to pay more than Rs. 460,000 for 4 years which is Rs 100,000 higher than even IITs.For that reason, the fill rate in this college is just 30%.

But in setting its benchmark in study, education, academics and placement, it’s better than any top grade colleges in Bangalore. In all over India, it ranks 104th in offering engineering studies. It offers a series of specialization like Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Food Technology, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Printing Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering etc. To rate it on the basis of overall performance, we would give it 6.5 out of 10.

This is one of the best colleges for engineering study in Bangalore. In all over India it ranks 137th in offering engineering studies. B.M.S. Institute of Technology is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The campus is almost same in size as M.S. Ramaiya. The campus of B.M.S. Institute of Technology has spread over 21 acres of land and is being surrounded by magnificent natural beauty.

The college provides hostels both for boys and girls. The hostels are both on-campus and off-campus. Separate arrangements are being made for boys and girls and mostly the hostels consist of dorm rooms where the 3-4 students have to stay in one room. This is an engineering college of repute in the state of Karanataka. It’s being established by the famous Diwan of Mysore at that time, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. He was also a statesman and a brilliant engineer. This college is being founded in the year 1986. B N M Institute of Technology

B N M Institute of Technology is one of the most reputed colleges in Bangalore. It’s located in Banshankari, Bangalore. Bhageerathi Bai Narayana Rao Maanay Institute of Technology is founded in 2001 and it is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

It offers separate arrangements for boys and girls. The hostel for boys is near by the institution and 150 students can stay in the hostel. Whereas the hostel for girls is also within the campus, very well equipped and also 150 girls students can be accommodated there.
